Emma's answers to Humanist or Unitarian wedding?

Question

We've been thinking about having a humanist ceremony but don't know where to start to find a venue to hold it in, can you help? In addition, can you tell me how I find a Unitarian venue?

Answer

One of the best things about humanist weddings is that, as they are not legal ceremonies, they can take place anywhere. So, your venue options are limitless. For some inspiration, take a look at our venues guide and see if anything there takes your fancy. Remember also that a humanist ceremony could even take place in a field, on a mountain or in a marquee in your back garden!

To find out more about venues for a Unitarian ceremony I'd suggest you have a look at their official website as all the churches are listed there: http://www.unitarian.org.uk
