I bought my dress a year ago and have made the wrong choice. I've just had my first fitting and I don't fit in to it - I've put on a little weight but I'm not even sure that I like the dress anymore. What should I do?

Answer

First of all, try it on again with some accessories and take someone with you to find out their opinion. If you then like it but feel it's too tight, you could speak to the dressmakers about alterations, and plan a healthy balanced diet in the run up to the wedding.

If you decide that you really don't like it, your only option is to find something else. You could certainly try to sell your dress and hopefully get back some of the money that you have spent.
