We have returned from our wonderful honeymoon and are wondering what we should do with our marriage certificate. Do we have to go and register our marriage?
Answer
The marriage certificate is yours to keep. Providing that you filled in all the correct forms before you went, then a copy should automatically be sent to your local births, deaths and marriages office. To make sure they have received it you could give them a quick call.
