Please help - I'm useless at colour co-ordinating! My fiance has chosen a creamy gold waistcoat, and my dress is ivory. I can't think what to choose for the bridesmaids. I think they will clash with us if they wear gold.

You are very lucky because there is almost no colour that does not co-ordinate with gold and ivory! A rich red or burgundy would look fantastic, as a pale lilac or pink. All these colours are easy to theme throughout your wedding, not just on the bridesmaids' dresses. If you're having an evening wedding, you could even opt for black which can be a very stylish colour for adult bridesmaids.

I would recommend having a look at some gold dresses too, especially if you're having little flower girls who would look adorable in ivory dresses with a gold sash around their waists. There's no reason it would clash with your outfits.
