Emma's answers to What parish you can marry in?

Question

My fiancé and I want to get married in church, but find that the church in our parish is too large. However, we would like to get married in the church of his parent's parish, but don't know whether this is possible or not purely on the basis of it being a relative's parish.

Answer

There should be no problem at all with this, as you have a connection to the church through your fiance's parents.

I suggest you contact the vicar and arrange a date to see them to talk things over.
