One of my bridesmaids is married which makes her a matron of honour, but does this mean that she has to be chief bridesmaid?
Answer
Traditionally each bridesmaid would be given a specific role and title like matron, chief, flower girl etc.
However, now the tradition seems a lot more relaxed and people are devising their own rules and ideas. There is no reason why you should class each girl with a specific title and why they can't share the roles between them.
