Is it acceptable for the best man to give a very brief speech and then present a slide show of photos, video clips and funny statements that he has put together?

Answer

It is becoming increasingly popular for best men to use multimedia in their speeches, so I think this would be a great idea for your wedding reception.

It is important to remember to thank everyone for coming, and also to mention the bridesmaids, and wedding party, as well as anyone who has helped to organise the wedding. Once everyone has been thanked, and the best man has said a few words, it would be great to present a slide show, this will be really entertaining for your guests, and add a modern edge to the tradition.
