Emma's answers to Helping from a distance

Question

My fiancé's family live in Australia, and are feeling left out of the wedding preparations. Are there any areas where we can help them feel more involved? We are stuck for ideas for things that they can do from that far away, especially as they are only arriving in the UK a week before the wedding.

Answer

Do your in-laws to be have internet access and email? If so there are a number of things they can do.
1. They can arrange the wedding cake for you. In confetti pages we have a number of people all over the UK who will be able to help you. All orders could be made over the net.
2. Similarly they could organise your wedding transport to the church.
3. They could help by offering you advice on the menu for your reception or the wine or flowers.
4. If you are printing any of your own stationery, they could give you a hand. For example, perhaps they could print your order of service sheets for you.
