23rd September 2013 |By | 2 Comments

Anna and Gavin have truly captured the essence of the vintage era with vintage lace fashion, horse drawn carriage and delicate floral teacups. A truly inspirational real wedding in shades of antique pinks and cream at the picture-perfect Linthwaite House in Cumbria on a gorgeous October day.

The proposal… It was really romantic, Gavin popped the question on Christmas Day in 2009.

Our favourite part of the wedding was… The whole day – I want to re-live it again from start to finish.

Advice for other brides… Stick with your own ideas and don’t let other people persuade you to change your mind. It’s your day.

Our honeymoon was… We travelled around South Africa, Shamwari for a safari and then Mauritius.

What a lovely article – beautiful bride and wedding! A vintage wedding has such a fantastic feel and look to it! A great tip for adding to the vintage feel of a wedding is nipping down to your local second-hand and vintage stores, great way to support your local community and find tasteful and unique decorations for your big day.
