James and I met on a day trip with friends to Wet N’ Wild. Although I was severly hungover from the night before, we hit it off instantly. We began dating and it wasn’t long before James proposed. We met three years ago from the day we got married: 5th May 2004
I am 21 James is 28
James proposed on Christmas Eve 2004, he presented me with a gorgeous platinum ring, just the one I wanted and asked me to marry him.
Yes we both went round the town. We couldn’t do anything else as our baby son was only three months old. James however did get an extra special treat……a roly poly!
Not really he did choose our first dance song. Which was This I Swear by Nick Lachey.
I did and purchased many items including your insurance
I bought several products from your website
The dress I wore was a Forever Yours ballgown. It was originally strapless however i decided to add the straps as it kept on falling down. The bodice was a corset and very detailed with diamonties
I had a cheif bridesmaid (my aunty) and two other bridesmaids (my cousins) they wore 50s style prom dresses. My little sister was flower girl and she wore a ivory jasper conran dress that was similar to mine.
The groom chose his brother-in-law for best man and my brother and his nephew for ushers. They all wore full matching suits.
We decided to have a civil ceremony

Yes, It was monochrome and Audrey Hepburn
The table names were all Audrey Hepburn films and the centerpieces were candles on the mirrored placemat with tealights around the candle. I then had black and silver confetti on the table
Yes, the women were given a personalised candle and matchbook and the men were given mint imperials. I also gave the children party bags filled with goodies
My florist was Flowerhouse. My bouquet was a calla lilly and rose cascading bouuet and my bridesmaids bouquets were just calla lillies.
My menu consisted of soup or melon to start. Roast Beef for main and either apple crumble or strawberry shortbread hearts for dessert. I choose to go with the venue cooks.
My wedding cake was a bit of a nightmare. In the end i had a professional make it, it consisted of four tiers, one fruit, two sponge, one chocolate, was iced white and had black ribbon and bows on it. It was gorgeous
Yes a DJ on the evening which the venue provided
