How and when did you meet?
We met via a chat site on the internet. Simon sent me a message saying ‘hello’ in April of last year and we just casually said hello to each other, passing the time of day. Simon is a Royal Marine Commando and a short while after he contacted me he got sent to the Gulf. We exchanged phone numbers just before he left and he called and asked if he could come and visit me in Northern Ireland when he came back. We lost touch when he was away, I did everything to try and get hold of him but failed miserably. I eventually managed to track him down in September the day after he got back from the Gulf. He had 3 weeks off work but were unable to meet as I had a holiday booked at the time. We were going to sort out something when he returned to work, but unfortunately when he got back to work.. 3 days later he was packed of to Sierra Leone. We became very close during his time away there, and finally on the 21st November Simon came to see me. The minute i set eyes on him at the airport I knew he was the one for me. 2 days later he took me looking for engagement rings, a week later we had booked our wedding.
How old are you both?
im 35, simon is 29
Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?

Seeing my handsome husband-to-be waiting for me to join him at the top of the aisle. Just as i was arriving at the castle and getting out of the car, my boss was filming me with his camcorder, he fell over in the bushes in front of everyone.. I couldn’t stop laughing, it really settled my nerves

None, it all went smoothly.
Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?
Nope, just to enjoy the moment, I wish we could do it all again. I live in Northern Ireland so I found and contacted all my suppliers via the internet, I would have been lost without it.
