The bride wore white, the bridesmaids wore white, the groom wore… white, and so did the groomsmen… it was a beach-themed wedding after all! Soaked in splendid sunshine, and photographed in all its colourful South of France glory by Ben Stirling, with a crowd of smiling guests and surprise fireworks at the end organised by the bride’s father – it truly was a foreign affair to remember!
The Couple: Jessica, a journalist originally from France, and Hap, who is in financial sales.

We met… At the Lansdowne Pub in Primrose Hill, London.
My first impressions of Hap… I thought he was handsome, intelligent and funny.
My first impressions of Jessica… Beautiful, great smile and daring! She came up to me and gave me her number. I called her an hour later and she didn’t pick up!
Our proposal... Hap proposed in the rose gardens of Regent’s Park where we often walk through on weekends. We had spent the day riding our bikes and Hap suggested we make a stop in the park, which I didn’t think twice about because it was on the way home. Little did I know!
My dress… My gown was light and elegant- a perfect beach wedding dress.
Our wedding theme… We had a beach wedding theme and the colours were (mostly) white.
Our ceremony… It was romantic and quick!
Confetti.co.uk helped me for my wedding because… I used it to buy a lot of organizational things including the table name holders, and also for gifts for my bridesmaids.
We chose our venue because… I am originally from France and I grew up visiting there every summer.
My favourite part of the wedding… Dancing with my husband, the caipirinha bar and the surprise fireworks organized by my father!
Our first dance song… Ray LaMontagne- You Are The Best Thing.
My advice for other brides-to-be… Relax ‘cause things will go wrong regardless. Don’t yell at your mum too much 
Enjoy your day and have fun! Don’t fret over the small stuff – get a good band or DJ because everyone loves to dance at weddings.
