We were 18yrs old at the time

No as we have been living together for years we asked for donations.

As our wedding was so close to where we live we went home on our first night then early the next morning we flew out to Egypt for 7 days .

There were so many, the one that sticks out the most is when we were pronounced husband and wife we both turned round and all our friends and family where clapping and crying.

Did you experience any “nightmare” moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?

Only one. It was not really a nightmare it was very funny. It was when I got to the registry office and I realised that I had left my flowers at home! My best friend had to go to my house and get them. Luckily it was only 10 mins away .

Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?

I would definitely pay for a professional to video the wedding and evening and get a better photo package as though the photographer was very good he did not take enough pictures and did not do all the pictures on my list.
