Yes! I was taken to the New Forest for pampering and a big girls’ night out in Southampton. He went on a golfing break in Devon.
He had some very strong ideas about the wedding and everything was (mostly)a joint decision.
I used other people’s weddings to give me inspiration in the early stages. We brought all the decorations from confetti. Also it is just a nice girly website to visit and gain ideas.
We bought online and went to the new Reading store.
My dress was from Pronuptia in Woking. It is a beautiful ivory dress with organza overlay, with a few sparkles and pearls.

My bouquet was ivory roses with diamantes in the roses.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets were calla lilies with bear grass trail.
The buttonholes were roses and the corsages were freesia.

Cranleigh Celebration Cakes. It was a three tier chocolate cake – white with pink dots.
In the evening, we had a chocolate fountain.
