Once upon a time, the parents of the groom had very little involvement in the planning of the wedding. They sat back, let the bride’s parents get on with it, and simply turned up to see their son say ‘I do’.
But, times have changed, and contemporary weddings see both sets of parents involved in the planning stages. Alas, you might also be asked whether you plan on adding to the wedding budget as well!
