If getting married in a castle is your dream, then Peckforton Castle could be the magical place you’ve been looking for. Fully licenced for both civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, it can accommodate wedding parties from 10 to 170, whilst offering guest accommodations in 48 rooms, spa treatments, and even a Falconry Experience for that touch of something different. This 19th century building is the only intact medieval style Castle in the country. There are special deals available for midweek weddings from Monday to Thursday.

Davenport Green Hall, part of Tailormade Venues, is a privately owned Grade II listed historical estate in the heart of Cheshire. For your photographs, there are 16 acres of stunning grounds including a Japanese water garden. The venue is fully licenced in all their rooms, including the Cheshire Barn, the Grand Pavilion and the Glass Ballroom among them, and can accommodate up to 250 guests. They even have facilities to receive helicopter landings! Arley Hall is a family home, an impressive example of a Victorian country house built in an Elizabethan style, and famous for its 18 acres of Gardens. You can get married outdoors in the licenced Alcove, or have the ceremony and reception inside according to your preference. Inside, there is a choice of magnificent rooms, like the Library or the Drawing Room. Heaton House Farm’s beautiful countryside location offers fantastic views across three counties. Working on exclusive hire basis, they focus on creating completely bespoke weddings instead of set packages. Their three barns are all licenced for civil ceremonies and able to accommodate weddings from 20 to 450 guests, and the couple may have a rehearsal for the ceremony beforehand. Your photos will look beautiful taken in the scenic surroundings and water gardens.
