The aisle is one of the biggest elements of the wedding ceremony, not least because the bride has to make her way down it toward the altar. Traditionally, it’s the first place her partner sees her too, and a more emotional moment there never was. Because the aisle is such a huge component, you’ll want to put a lot of thought into how you decorate it. Take a look at some beautiful aisle perfect wedding inspiration!
You’ll find that you’ll want to personalise your wedding ceremony venue, particularly the space between your guests’ seating. Whether you say “I do” inside a church or in your favourite castle, you’ll probably want an aisle runner of some kind. Confetti.co.uk offers a variety of beautiful aisle runners that can be personalised!
You could even get creative and draw upon ideas like these stunning, colourful aisles made from scattered flower petals!
Even with an aisle runner, your aisle may look a little bit plain. That’s where decorations come in, such as aisle markers. Aisle markers are exactly what they say on the tin and involve decorating the end chair, or the end of the pew, etc. Some people decorate the back row of seats as well, as shown with our contemporary vintage examples. Most aisles are decorated along the floor too!
Don’t forget the details like banners for your pageboys, cute baskets and flower petals for your flower girls, and small favours on your guests’ chairs filled with celebratory confetti!
