Whether we admit it or not, we love having a peek at a celebrity wedding! From the designer of the dress, to the celebrities that attended and the chosen colour scheme, we love to pull inspiration from the rich and famous for our own big day.

With everything from luxury hotels, historical castles, stately homes and World Heritage sites,our wedding venue directory is extensive and we are proud to have on board some celebrity worth wedding venues too! So for those who are planning a wedding that would make Posh and Becks big day look like a casual affair, here are our top 5 celebrity wedding venues!

1. Hengrave Hall in Suffolk

Hengrave Hall is a Tudor Mansion that has been lovingly restored to create a romantic venue for weddings. As you enter the iron the gates and travel up the tree lined drive towards the picturesque hall and grounds, it’s not hard to see why Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright chose this venue for their big day this year. It’s stunning gardens are filled with over 1000 David Austin Roses and boasts a tranquil courtyard and sun kissed terrace.

Hengrave Hall is proud to offer complete exclusivity of the venue, as well as a bespoke wedding service to suit your requirements. Ceremonies can be held in the hall or it’s very own chapel and can accommodate for up to 14o people at the reception.

2. Kew Gardens in Surrey

CELEBRITY WEDDINGS:  Fearne Cotton and Jesse Wood, Katie Melua and James Toseland

Kew Gardens is an iconic World Heritage site most famously know for being the worlds largest collection of living plants. It’s 300 acres of beautiful greenery and gardens and glass houses filled with rare and wonderful plants, makes this wedding venue a truly unique and awe inspiring place for your big day.

Whether you are planning a wedding that’s small and intimate or large and lavish, this former royal residence  has 5 stunning glass houses and listed building for hire. However, if you simply can’t choose, they offer a multi venue wedding package for use of Kew’s most popular venues. Say your ‘I do’s’ in the Nash Conservatory, before post-wedding drinks in the Princess of Wales Conservatory, followed by dinner and dancing in The Orangery, which can accommodate up to 200 people.

TV presenter and ex Radio One DJ Fearne Cotton chose this stunning venue for her nuptials to musician Jesse Wood in 2014. Her effortlessly cool, boho look worked perfectly with this botanical venue!

3.  Claridge’s in London

CELEBRITY WEDDINGS: Lara Stone and David Walliams

With it’s history of state banquets and royal receptions it is no wonder that Claridge’s is on our celebrity wedding venue list. Located in the heart of the UK capital, this 5 star Mayfair hotel oozes nothing but luxury and glamour, with its timeless Art Deco interior, bespoke decor and numerous private event rooms.

Claridge’s pride themselves on providing only the freshest seasonal produce for their wedding menus which have been designed by award-winning executive chef, Martyn Nail and offer complete flexibility.

Whilst they can accommodate the most complex and elaborate wedding for up to 800 guests, their dedicated wedding planners are happy to plan much smaller weddings, ensuring that every little detail is exactly as you imagined.

Supermodel Lara Stone and and comedian and actor David Walliams opted for a traditional ceremony at Claridge’s  in 2010.

4. Amberley Castle in West Sussex

CELEBRITY WEDDINGS: Holly Willoughby and Dan Baldwin

For the bride who wants a Cinderella wedding, Amberley Castle, which has been used by Royalty, Politicians, and VIP’s throughout history, is the perfect venue. Based on the doorstep of the South Downs National Park, it is enclosed by a high curtain wall with medieval stone work and sits surrounded by 12 acres of gorgeous landscape gardens. In true fairytale style, this private venue is also home to two white peacocks!

Built in the 12th century, the castle is steeped in history with beautiful antiques, suits of armour and coats of arms which gives it a magical feel. With the ability to accomodate weddings from 2 to 250 people, the venue suits all types of weddings.

From a child, TV presenter Holly Willoughby knew she’d marry at Amberley Castle after visiting it as a child for Mother’s Day and other special events and in 2007 married Dan Baldwin there.

5. Stapleford Park in Leicester

CELEBRITY WEDDINGS: Abby Clancey and Peter Couch

You can be Lord and Lady of the Manor for the day, like Peter Crouch and Abby Clancey, when you privately hire Stapleford Park for your wedding. Surrounded by 500 acres of landscaped grounds, this 17th century luxury country house hotel boasts 48 individually designed bedrooms and suites, by the likes of Mulberry and Crabtree and Everlyn. It’s stunning orangery is licensed for civil ceremonies and accomodates up to 150 guests and the wedding breakfast in the Grand Hall can cater for up to 180.
