8. Cartmel Racecourse
The Grandstand at Cartmel Racecourse is located in picturesque surroundings, within walking distance of the medieval village of Cartmel. In fact many couples choose to marry in the 12th Century Priory in the centre of the village before walking the short distance to the racecourse.
