Wedding photos last a life time! It’s worth making sure you look your best. Debbie Jean Bridal Make‐up Artist highly recommend the unique service of threading. I had it done for my wedding day and continue to make use of this service whenever possible.
WHAT IS THREADING?
Threading is an ancient technique used to eliminate excess hair on the face and eyebrow area.
HOW IT’S DONE
Threading involved twisting the unwanted hair out using cotton string.
WHY CHOOSE THREADING OVER OTHER TECHNIQUES?
It’s more accurate than waxing – especially in the eyebrow area because the string can be placed precisely along the eyebrow line and the only unwanted hair gets twisted out in the most amazing straight line.
I have NEVER seen an incorrect eyebrow shape created with the threading technique – which I can’t say for plucked or waxed eyebrows.
Threading removes the unwanted hair in a much more accurate line than any other technique. The brow area looks super ‘clean’ and groomed as even the tiniest hairs are effectively removed.
Unwanted facial hair can also be removed using this technique.
HOT TIPS
You won’t be able to thread your own eyebrows it’s a highly specialised technique.
Visit You Tube to watch threading videos – this will give you a good idea how it’s done.
Find a threader in your area that has years of experience, it’s a technique that is usually passed down from generation to generation and it’s popular amongst Indian, Asian and Arab woman, in my experience they seem to be the most skilled.
If you book an appointment for threading don’t apply moisturiser to your face the day of your appointment. After the treatment don’t touch your face or eyebrow area ‐ the bacteria on your fingers may cause a mild rash.
