I don’t have time – why should I advertise in a nutshell?
Confetti is a leading national wedding website in the UK – and you may not know that we’ve been trusted for over 25 years and have thousands of visitors to the site every month, looking for services for their wedding.
We’re also proud to have launched Wedx, our state of the art new app, which is the simplest way to plan a wedding and is packed with planning tools and advice.
Simply, we’re offering three months advertising, absolutely free of charge, on both of our digital platforms, the Confetti website and the Wedx app. There’s no upfront payments, no credit card details and no commitment to buy whatsoever, should you decide not to continue advertising before the end of the ‘free, try before you buy’ offer.
You’ll have the opportunity to promote your business across our digital platforms to brides-to-be both locally and nationally, potentially increasing your chances of securing more wedding bookings. The site and the app aim to drive visitors directly to your website and they can call you directly too.
You’ll be able to showcase your business to its full potential with advertising on Confetti the website and Wedx the app. Your app advertising will seamlessly synchronise with your website advertising, saving you time. And what’s more, there’s no limits on text, photos, and videos with your advertising.
What happens at the end of the free trial?

If you are not happy during the free trial for whatever reason you MUST opt out BEFORE the end of the free trial. See your Order Form and section 4 of our Terms and Conditions entitled ‘Contract Duration’ for more information and clarity on how to do this. You don’t even need to contact us to opt out – you can visit www.confetti.co.uk/optout and follow the simple instructions to obtain your OPT OUT CODE. If you do need any help whatsoever, please call our friendly team and we’ll be happy to help.
So, to clarify, this is a free ‘try before you buy’ promotion, then an annual fee for advertising on our digital platforms – see section 9 of our Terms and Conditions for more details on pricing which is called ‘Charges and Payments’.
Let’s make this even clearer –
1 – A free unlimited advertising trial for 3 months on our digital platforms
2 – Then once your free trial ends (if you choose not to opt out beforehand) you’ll be invoiced the Standard Charges for advertising on the Confetti website and/or Wedx the app.
3 – All prices are plus VAT.
If I contact Confetti to opt out of my advertising BEFORE the free trial ends, will it be cancelled?
100% YES. Clients can opt out of their advertising at any time at least one day BEFORE the free trial ends. You’ll need to obtain your OPT OUT CODE to do so. We do ask though that you give your advertising listings some time to build momentum.
Will I get a reminder?
We do not send reminders before the end of your free trial to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted service. In the past, clients have missed reminders due to emails landing in spam folders or miscommunications, leading to confusion. To avoid any misunderstandings and ensure clarity, we’ve adopted a system where the contract automatically renews unless you choose to opt-out.
If you decide not to continue with your advertising the onus is on yourself to obtain an OPT OUT CODE before the trial ends and you must visit www.confetti.co.uk/optout to ensure that you obtain and can quote your OPT OUT CODE.

Do I get a ‘cooling off’ period?
No, this is a business-to-business (B2B) agreement. We provide three months free of charge advertising, giving you the opportunity to try before you buy, and if you are not happy for whatever reason you can obtain an OPT OUT CODE at any time. See ‘Can I Cancel at any Time?’ below.
If I contact Confetti AFTER the renewal date, will the advertising be cancelled?
No, as this would breach the legal contract and agreed Terms and Conditions.
Obtaining an OPT OUT CODE after the end of the free trial will only prevent further renewals of the contract, not the current term. Our friendly Customer Services team remain on hand to assist you whilst you are advertising with Confetti.
Will I definitely get bookings?
Unfortunately like any marketing we cannot guarantee results, however, the more you populate your listings the more exposure you receive across the website and the app.
Some brides are in the first stages of wedding planning and some are looking to book right now.
Brides-to-be visiting your listing on the website and the app will be encouraged to visit your website, call you directly and book directly with you.
Will someone keep in contact with me throughout my free trial?
During your free trial, our primary goal is to allow you to explore our product independently and at your own pace. While we do not proactively reach out during the trial period, we are here to support you and if you have any questions or need assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact our support team as we are more than happy to help you make the most of your trial experience. We are open 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays (finishing at 3:30pm on Fridays). Customer support can be contacted on 020 8143 9258 or email [email protected]. Our friendly team can also help you to obtain your OPT OUT CODE if you feel that Confetti and/or Wedx is not working for you.
Are couples directly interested in my specific venue/business?
If a bride-to-be has enquired directly to you having seen your business advertised on Confetti or Wedx, they are likely to want more information about your business and potentially, prices.
It’s important to remember that brides typically take around 18 months to plan a wedding, and some may request quotes from you earlier in their planning process than might be ideal for you. However, every enquiry is valuable, as marketing can be a numbers game. It may take time to cultivate enquiries into bookings.
Our goal at Confetti is to attract brides-to-be to our digital platforms and encourage them to make contact with you directly, as early as possible to give you the best opportunity to turn these enquiries into bookings. If you don’t receive a response from a bride who has enquired, don’t be disheartened. This phenomenon, known as ‘ghosting,’ is common in the wedding industry. Be patient, as brides often start their planning well in advance.
You are responsible for tracking the performance of your Confetti and/or Wedx campaign. Please note that enquiries will not come directly from Confetti or Wedx, as we direct potential clients to your own website. To monitor the campaign’s success, keep an eye on incoming phone calls, emails from brides mentioning Confetti or Wedx, and traffic to your website.

Can I cancel at any time??
Of course – you can request an OPT OUT CODE at any time. Visit section 4 of our Terms and Conditions for more information, or alternatively get in touch (in writing) with our friendly customer services team who would be happy to assist you. If you opt out of your advertising after your free trial has ended you will be charged the full amount for a 12-month renewal period and your advertising will continue until the end of that 12-month period. This is non-negotiable and made abundantly clear in our Terms and Conditions.
If you don’t opt out of your advertising at any point, your advertising will continue to automatically renew for further 12-month renewal periods, on an annual basis.

We use DocuSign for our contracts and will ask you to confirm your agreement with a digital signature. Once signed, you’ll receive a link to download a copy of the signed Order Form and Terms and Conditions. If you have any trouble accessing your signed agreement, just get in touch with us, and we’ll help you retrieve it or provide you with a copy.
