We both did.

How long after your wedding did you leave for your honeymoon?

We actually got married abroad. Flew out on 21 August and got married on the 25th.

Where did you go?

Rendezvous, St Lucia.

How long were you away?

Two wonderful weeks.

How much did it cost and what sort of holiday was it (e.g. package, all‐inclusive etc)?

We paid about £3500 all inclusive. The wedding package was free.

Did you spend the entire holiday in one place or did you travel around?

We hired a car for the day and saw everything that we wanted to see. The rest of the time we were on the beach.

What did you do?

Lazed on the beach every day (except thee wedding day!)

What was a typical day like?

Got up about 8, went for breakfast, lazed on beach, had dinner, lazed some more. Went and got changed for tea and evening entertainment.

How did you and your partner get on?

Fabulous, adults‐only resort so no kids for two weeks!

What were the best bits?

Definitely our wedding day in paradise.

Were there any worst bits?

It rained on the morning of the wedding and I was gutted. But luckily about half an hour before the ceremony, the rain stopped and the sky cleared.

What advice would you give other honeymooners‐to‐be?

Enjoy the break and being with each other. Before you know it you’ll be back home and the honeymoon will be just a memory. Make sure that they are good memories.
