FAQ about our 3 Month Free Trial on our multi-media platforms
I don’t have time – why should I advertise in a nutshell?
Confetti is a leading national wedding website in the UK – and you may not know that we’ve been trusted for over 25 years and have thousands of visitors to www.confetti.co.uk every month, looking for services for their wedding.
We’re also proud to have launched Wedx, our new app, which is the simplest way to plan a wedding and is packed with useful tools, inspirations and advice.
In addition, we operate We Still Do – the home of vow renewals at our beautiful website www.westilldo.co.uk.
Simply, we’re offering three months advertising, free of charge on all three of those digital products, Confetti website, the Wedx app and the We Still Do website. There are no upfront payments, no deposit, no credit card details and no commitment to buy whatsoever, should you decide before the end of the three months to not continue advertising.
You’ll have the opportunity to promote your business across those digital platforms to couples planning weddings or vow renewal ceremonies, both locally and nationally, potentially increasing your chances of securing more bookings. The sites and the app aim to drive visitors directly to your website and they can call and email you directly too.
You’ll be able to showcase your business to its full potential with advertising on three Digital Platforms. Your app advertising will seamlessly synchronise with your website advertising, saving you time. And what’s more, there are no limits on text, photos, and videos with your advertising. It’s not a ‘lite version’ either during the three months – you get access to all the functionality of the websites and the app.
Is Confetti Magazine included in the free trial?
No, Confetti Magazine isn’t part of the free trial. However, as a thank you if you decide not to opt out and continue with your paid package, we’ll include a free Feature Spotlight in the magazine (worth £499 + VAT per season). Confetti Magazine is handed out at all The National Wedding Shows – subject to the shows going ahead as planned.
Our Feature Spotlights are advertorials designed to showcase our venue advertisers. Each one typically includes up to 150 words and at least one image of your venue.

What happens at the end of the free trial?

If you are not happy during the free trial for whatever reason you MUST opt out BEFORE the end of the free trial. See your Order Form and section 4 of our Terms and Conditions entitled ‘Contract Duration’ for more information and clarity on how to do this. You don’t even need to contact us to opt out – you can visit www.confetti.co.uk/optout at any time and follow the simple instructions to obtain your OPT OUT CODE. If you do need any help whatsoever, please call our friendly team and we’ll be happy to help.
So, to clarify, this is a free ‘try before you buy’ promotion, then an annual fee for advertising on the digital platforms Confetti, We Still Do and Wedx– see section 9 of our Terms and Conditions for more details.
Let’s make this even clearer –
1 – A free unlimited advertising trial for 3 months on Confetti, We Still Do and Wedx, the app.
2 – Then, once your free trial ends (if you choose not to opt out beforehand) you’ll be invoiced the Standard Charges for advertising on the Digital Platforms. You’ll be invoiced for each Renewal Period after that.
3 – Once your free trial ends (if you choose not to opt out beforehand) you’ll receive a FREE Feature Spotlight advertorial in the next available Confetti Magazine as a thank you, completely on us!
4 – All prices are plus VAT.
If I opt out of my advertising on the Digital Platforms BEFORE the free trial ends, will it be cancelled?
100% YES. Clients can opt out of their advertising at any time, provided it is at least one day BEFORE the free trial ends and you’ll need to obtain your OPT OUT CODE to do so (see section 4 of our terms and conditions). We do ask though that you give your advertising listings some time to build momentum. Opting out before the free trial ends will mean that you may not receive your FREE Feature Spotlight advertorial.
Will I get a reminder?
NO. We do not send reminders before the end of your free trial to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted service. In the past, clients have missed reminders due to emails landing in spam folders or miscommunications, leading to confusion. To avoid any misunderstandings and ensure clarity, we’ve adopted a system where the contract automatically renews unless you choose to opt-out.
If you decide not to continue with your advertising simply obtain an OPT OUT CODE before the trial ends via www.confetti.co.uk/optout and following the simple steps. It is your responsibility to ensure that you obtain and can quote your OPT OUT CODE.

Do I get a ‘cooling off’ period?
No, this is a business-to-business (B2B) agreement. We provide three months free of charge advertising, giving you the opportunity to try before you buy, and if you are not happy for whatever reason you can obtain an OPT OUT CODE at any time. See ‘Can I Cancel at any Time?’ below.
If I contact Confetti AFTER the trial or any future renewal date, will the advertising be cancelled?
Obtaining an OPT OUT CODE after the end of the free trial will only prevent future renewals of the contract, not the current term. Our friendly Customer Services team remain on hand to assist you whilst you are advertising with Confetti, even when you have obtained an OPT OUT CODE ahead of your next renewal and have remaining time left in your current term.
Will I definitely get bookings?
Unfortunately like any marketing we cannot guarantee results. Some couples are in the first stages of planning their wedding or vow renewal ceremonies and some are looking to book right now.
Couples visiting your listings on the Digital Platforms will be encouraged to visit your website, call you directly and book directly with you.
Will someone keep in contact with me throughout my free trial?
During your free trial, we allow you to explore our product independently and at your own pace. While we do not proactively reach out during the trial period, we are here to support you if you have any questions or need assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact our support team as we are more than happy to help you make the most of your trial experience. We are open 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays (finishing at 3:30pm on Fridays). Customer support can be contacted on 020 8143 9258 or email [email protected]. Our friendly team can also help you to obtain your OPT OUT CODE if you feel that the Digital Platforms are not working for you.
Are couples directly interested in my specific venue/business?
If a couple have enquired directly to you having seen your business advertised on the Digital Platforms, they are likely to want more information about your business and potentially, prices.
It’s important to remember that couples typically take around 18 months to plan a wedding, and some may request quotes or a show around from you earlier in their planning process than might be ideal for you. However, every enquiry is valuable, as marketing can be a numbers game. It may take time to cultivate enquiries into bookings. Vow renewal ceremonies similarly take some time to plan and arrange.
Our goal with our Digital Platforms is to attract couples to the websites and App and encourage them to make contact with you directly, as early as possible to give you the best opportunity to turn these enquiries into bookings. If you don’t receive a response from an enquiry, don’t be disheartened. This phenomenon, known as ‘ghosting,’ is common in the wedding industry and occurs as couples start their planning well in advance and often seek inspiration online very early in their engagement.
You are responsible for tracking the performance of your campaigns on the Digital Platforms. Please note that enquiries will not come directly from the Digital Platforms, as we direct potential clients straight to your website. To monitor the campaign’s success, keep an eye on incoming phone calls, emails from brides, grooms, couples and those renewing vows mentioning Confetti, We Still Do or Wedx, and, of course, traffic to your website.
Can I downsize my campaign before or after it renews?
No – our three-month trial includes full exposure across Confetti, Wedx, and We Still Do to maximise your results. When your campaign renews, it automatically continues at the agreed prices, which covers all platforms as a bundled solution. We’re unable to offer partial participation or remove individual platforms, as the campaign is designed to work as a complete, integrated package. This ensures consistency, reach, and value across the network of digital products.

Can I cancel at any time?
Of course – you can obtain an OPT OUT CODE at any time. Visit section 4 of our Terms and Conditions for more information or alternatively get in touch (in writing) with our friendly customer services team who will be happy to assist you. If you opt out of your advertising after your free trial has ended you will be charged the full amount for a 12-month renewal period and your advertising will continue until the end of that 12-month period. This is non-negotiable and made abundantly clear in our Terms and Conditions.
If you don’t opt out of your advertising at any point, your advertising will continue to automatically renew for further 12-month renewal periods, on an annual basis.

We do ask you on your Order Form to confirm that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions found here – www.confetti.co.uk/wedding_business_terms_and_conditions_venues2025 and ALL information on www.confetti.co.uk/venues2025 which includes these frequently asked questions. We will ask you to confirm on the Order Form that you are the authorised person to sign on behalf of the business and that all information on the Order Form is correct.
We use DocuSign for our contracts and will ask you to confirm your agreement with a digital signature. Once signed, you’ll receive a link to download a copy of the signed Order Form and Terms and Conditions. If you have any trouble accessing your signed agreement, just get in touch with us, and we’ll help you retrieve it or provide you with a copy.
