Bridesmaid Dress Styles

Long matching bridesmaid dresses are, of course, the classic look, and Monsoon’s latest collection has a decidedly vintage flavour, with bias-cut gowns, 1930s style angel sleeves and figure-flattering cross-over designs and waist ties. Stunning eye-catching keyhole back detailing brings them into the 21st century with added sparkle from the addition of gorgeous artisan hand-embellishment. In this season’s colours of sophisticated navy blue, pale blue, delicate blush pink and nude

Mix and Match Bridesmaids Dresses

It’s really up to you whether you want your bridesmaids all perfectly matching or if you prefer to mix and match styles. If your bridesmaids are very different then it can work extremely well to find styles or colours that suit their individual looks rather than trying to make them all look the same. Unmatching bridesmaids gowns or having bridesmaids wear separates can make for a less formal and more contemporary look. Monsoon shows how to combine complementary colours and styles for a contemporary look with a vintage feel, with some of the maxi dresses shown also available in shorter skirt lengths for even  more versatility. This new collection features several distinctly 1920s style patterns and shapes making them the obvious choice for a vintage wedding theme.
