When to Visit Bali to Save Money

No longer reserved for gap year travellers, Bali should 100% be on your honeymoon radar.

It’s got a bit of a reputation for being a hive for influencers in recent years, with horror stories of queues of people waiting in line to have their photos taken at iconic spots, but if you go to Bali in low season, between April in October, you should have a bit more breathing space.

Bali is prone to a lot of rain during the off season – tropical downpours that last 15- 45 minutes – so if you’re dreaming of a sun soaked honeymoon this won’t be the time for you to go. If you’re flexible with your itinerary, you can still see all that Bali has to offer – just make sure to pack a poncho!
