We’ve all heard about the bucket list, right? The list of things we want to do before we die or turn 30, well today we’ve created the bridal bucket list. We run down the top 5 things our brides should do before their big day. Of course we’re not saying you can’t do any of these things after your special day, but knowing you’ve completed everything you wanted to do as a single lady will be a breath of fresh on your wedding day.

Have one last trip as a single lady with your BFFs

We’re not saying you can’t travel with your girlfriends once your married, but how amazing does one last trip with your soon to be bridesmaids sound? Take this opportunity to celebrate your hen do a little early with your best friends: sit back on the beach with your favourite cocktail and top up your tan for your big day.

Treat yourself to something expensive

We’re not asking you to purchase a Ferrari or spend your next paycheck on a yacht; what we want you to do is think of something you’ve wanted for yourself but always put it off because it was too expensive. Treat yourself to a designer handbag, a pair of Jimmy Choos or a set of pink diamond earrings for your big day; whatever it is, you deserve it. So go on treat yourself.

Spend some time alone

How much “me” time have you had since the whirlwind of your engagement? In between the proposal, ring shopping, announcements and celebrations with friends and family, have you had time to yourself to take it all in? If the answer’s no then you need to take a day or two off to concentrate on yourself. The time alone will be just what you need to clear your mind, relax and recharge your batteries. Not only will you feel great, but you’ll also look fantastic!
