I'm getting married in just over a week, every time I think of walking down the aisle, all eyes on me, I get very panicky! Any tips on how to keep myself calm and not have a meltdown in front of everyone ? x
Nicole Hunt - You will look stunning because you will be a bride and marrying the man/woman of your life! You will smile and it won't be put on. Have trust in your photographer. They will take picture that show the best of you both. Have a word with the photographer before the day so they can make note of it and try to angel pictures to your best intrest.
I think everyone gets nervous about pictures but try not to, sit back, relax and have an amazing wedding! Xx
Lauren Hubbard - The majority of our photos were natural ones, of us and everyone just enjoying the day, we done a few at the church with the family photos obviously some of us aswell. My advice smile how you want they are your photos. I done a mix "teeth" smiles and just mouth closed smiles ? honestly because my face muscles were hurting from smiling throughout the whole day. I wouldn't panic, I feel like wedding photos are completely different to any others, youl look beautiful, try not to focus on that, also you can mention to the photographer that your not keen and you hate trying to do a certain smile she/he will advise and put you at ease don't worry x
Therese McLaughlin - Just put a nice wee smile on without showing ur teeth , if that's what's worrying u . I hate photos too , just get the photographer to show u the pics before she develops them . Tell her ur concerns .
Alex Thompson - I'm very much the same, as is my husband. I met with the photographer before and explained we wanted as many natural photos as possible and on the day sometimes we didn't even know she was there! As a result of not posing too much for the photos, we got some lovely relaxed ones, they're my favourites! Of course you have to have the obligatory poses by the car etc but if you opt for more natural ones the photographer will be able to catch the happiness on your face!
Carla Shaw - Apart from photos that you specifically ask for, ones with the parent, group shits etc, no photographer should make you pose for photos. Ok, when you go off for pics of just you and the groom they might ask you to stand in a certain place but they should leave you to become relaxed and in the moment with your new husband before snapping. As for the rest of the day it should all be natural, you shouldn't really notice they are there. On the day they'll be far too much going on for you to realise you're being snapped. Just relax
Sarah-may Anderson - I have always been conscious of my teeth as I broke my front ones when I was a child. They were capped but looked a mess. I did have my teeth done for my wedding but before then I had discussed with my photographer who advised that things could be photoshopped/edited... maybe an option for you ?
Elizabeth Robson-Ward - I hate my smile cause my lips disappear and you can see my crooked tooth if i smile, nothing you can do, half my photos I look miserable cause I'm trying not to smile and I hate them! and the others have my tooth on but it's me and it's who my hubby loves. so it does not matter what your photos look like as long as you have a perfect day with your man xxx
Lisa Lily-Lou Cruttenden - I was dreading this the most! In the end there were some I wasn't keen on but there were also lots I loved! Photographers usually take quite a few pictures too. Also we had an engagement shoot which helped me to see what positions were more flattering etc. Xx
Shelby Standley - Just remember every pose you do the photographer takes 2 or more pictures of that same pose and they will pick the best one please don't worry enjoy every moment that's what I'm planning to do haha I was a bit nervous about that too but decided I'm just gonna go with the flow I get married next Saturday ? eek! Xx
Jolene Carey - I got married on Friday past and was really worried about this as I never smile with my teeth! However, it totally didn't bother me on the day!! I didn't think about it at all! I just smiled with teeth sometimes and without the others! You'll be fine, just enjoy your day!
