I've always promised my brother (who is twenty one) he can have a big role in my wedding day when I get married. The only problem is that I have no idea what job to give him as my partner wants his brother to be his best man. I was wondering if you have any suggestions as to what my brother can do.
It's lovely to have your siblings involved in your wedding as it's a family celebration after all. There are many roles your brother could take on - he could be an usher, standing at the ceremony entrance directing guests where to sit, or he could stand up and do a reading during the ceremony - either reading a poignant piece of prose or a romantic poem. If he sings or plays an instrument he could do a solo piece as a musical break during either the ceremony or the reception Another great way he could get involved would be to ask him to act as your toastmaster and be the one responsible for introducing the speeches and asking guests to stand up to drink a toast during the reception . You could suggest all these ideas and ask him to choose which one he would like to do most. I hope that helps! x
