Ashfield House is an elegant Exclusive Wedding & Event Venue close to the borders of Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. We are an independent family business, everything is personal to us, we love what we do and you will really feel this when you step inside.

The luxury country house chic interior style complements the impressive period features including our original sweeping staircase, beautiful bay windows, ornate columns and panelled library bar. The house stands in its own landscaped grounds and overlooks the Douglas Valley.

Ashfield House has undergone an extensive renovation to restore the history and heritage of the house, while adding in stylish and quirky details which keeps us fresh and a blank canvas for your own wedding style.

Our house is a gorgeous blank canvas for weddings, it is grand yet homely and is jam packed full of quirky details (old and new) yet somehow manages to soak up the personality of each couple. The atmosphere here is full of love and joy, probably because of the absolute legends that make up our wedding team, busy doing their dream job day in day out! Our house and our team are laid back, fun, creative and wild.

We’ve won 13 awards in the last 3 years and we are super proud to have been crowned the UK’s best Wedding Venue 2017, 2018 & 2019, North West’s Best Events Team 2017 & 2018 in The Wedding Industry Awards along and awards for Innovation from The Great Northern Wedding awards and if things carry on this way we’ll have to build an extension for all the trophies!
