The Battersea Barge is a unique and recently refurbished independent venue available as a Licensed Wedding Venue for ceremonies and receptions.

Nestled amongst the newly built developments and landscape of Nine Elms with wonderful views of the Battersea Power Station and City skyline, the whole boat, set on 3 levels, spaciously accommodates approximately 150 guests in a seated (across multiple levels) or standing format. The lower deck and upper outside decks accommodate approximately 50-60 seated or 100 standing. The middle bar level, with floor to ceiling windows, offers a bright and airy inside and covered outside space. The Battersea Barge is a 1930s Dutch Barge which set sail for France to be used as a grain barge. In the 1970s she was brought across the Channel to the British Riviera. In 1985, she moved to her current mooring on the Thames in the heart of Nine Elms. She has seen Nine Elms transform dramatically from an industrial wasteland to the mini-Manhattan it's now considered to be. This includes the redevelopment of the iconic Battersea Power Station, Apple HQ, the new US Embassy with adjacent glass "sky pool” and the surrounding skyscrapers. Within 5 minutes of Battersea Power and Nine Elms tube stations (Northern Lines) and 12 minutes from Vauxhall station (Victoria line), the Barge boasts excellent transport links and is very centrally located while being just off the beaten path. She is tucked away from the main road in a beautiful green landscaped environment.
