Choose historic rooms for your ceremony, ranging from smaller, more intimate spaces to grander halls with seating capacities of up to 100 guests.

We currently offer three different packages:

Ceremonies are currently held among the artworks in the Grand Drawing Room or the grandeur of the Yellow Room. Following the ceremony, you and your guests are encouraged to celebrate with drinks in the Courtyard.

In cooler, or wet weather, enjoy your Drinks Reception in Caffi Celf surrounded by our range of modern Welsh art. Here you can choose from our suggested drinks packages and canapé menu or contact our team to discuss alternative catering options.

For smaller wedding parties on a budget, Caffi Celf has a delicious in-house home-cooked cold buffet menu and is available for exclusive hire with the option to personalise the room and create the perfect setting for your reception.

Grounds hirers can also make use of a splendid parkland marquee reception.

THE GRAND DRAWING ROOM

THE YELLOW ROOM

 

- Warm and welcoming east-facing room filled with natural light and artworks from the Clwyd Fine Arts collection.
- Large bay window feature to frame the ceremony.
- Seating capacity of up to 40.
- Period furniture.

 

Please note the following important information:

The fee for photography in the grounds is waived if you book one of the wedding rooms. Charges for additional photography apply. All photography is subject to strict rules as set out in our terms and conditions.

Bodelwyddan Castle Trust does not supply a wedding co-ordinator and couples must make adequate preparation to ensure that the arrangements for their marriage are in place on the day. This includes ensuring the availability of the Registrar.

Wedding rehearsals may be arranged through discussion with Trust staff though we regret that we will have to charge for this service at a rate of £50 plus VAT for a rehearsal taking place during our public open hours, or £75 plus VAT at any other time. This charge covers the cost of providing staff to oversee the rehearsal and to provide access to the period rooms as required.
