About Catherine Marche Ethical Fine Jewellery
Catherine Marché creates wedding rings and bridal jewellery full of personality with recycled 18ct and 22ct gold, natural gemstones and pearls for stylish people who value their individuality and joy.
"One of my inspirations is to create happiness by bringing out individual elegance and the glamour of life in a big city and allowing you to express your true essence".
I believe that everyone deserves to look and feel simply gorgeously stunning.
Because I value individuality, I value the close relationship I enjoy with a client when designing a bespoke piece that will sublimate the wearers' inner beauty and feelings and make their luxurious dream of uniqueness come to life.
"Fascinated by antiquity, primitive, tribal jewellery and the beauty of couture, I love to fuse original ideas with a strong aesthetic, using the craft of jewellery making by combining traditional workmanship and cutting edge technology like photo etching".
I trained traditionnally in goldsmithing at Central St Martins, followed by a City and Guild.
Ensuite, to have a greater knowledge of jewellery making, and hone her skills, I also attended masterclasses with master goldsmiths in Hatton Garden.
I am a certified GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) AJP professional and a de Beers diamond professsional.
Accolades: I was short listed for Holts Academy Jewellery awards in 2008, and the Precious award in 2009
Awarded a Getting Started bursary award by the worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in 2009, and LuxLife award in 2018
My work is published in the books: 1000 Jewelry Inspirations by Sandra Salamony, in Pass it along international Collaborative Jewellery project by Penny Akester,
and the Volutes cuffs are featured in The New Encyclopaedia of Jewellery Techniques by Jinks McGrath
