Chiddingstone Castle is situated on the edge of the idyllic Tudor village of Chiddingstone, with the ancient parish church of St Mary's often used by couples for a traditional marriage service.  The bride and groom can lead a picturesque procession through the impressive village gate and across the footbridge over the lake to the castle.

With the Castle and grounds closed to the public for weddings, they are able to offer exclusive use throughout the day. There are three separate areas licensed for the ceremony. During summer months most couples opt for a ceremony at the Orangery in the grounds, followed by drinks on the formal raised lawn, before coming inside to the Great Hall and the drawing room for the wedding breakfast and evening reception.

The Castle is able to accommodate a range of guest numbers, from smaller parties under 50 up to 80 for a wedding breakfast in the Great Hall, followed by an evening reception of up to 120. The Castle's marquee is regularly erected in the grounds which gives you freedom to invite up to 120 guests for the full day from ceremony through to evening reception.
