Hello and congratulations!
I am Clare and I can help you both have the most amazing wedding or elopement at Coruisk House!
We offer a bespoke experience. I can guide you through planning everything, from your choice of dress, flowers, location (usually outside in the wildly beautiful scenery of Skye), to hair and beauty, photography, videography, vintage car hire, a piper - an amazing fiddle player!
Most of our couples marry at the incredibly beautiful Loch Coruisk, travelling over by boat to the shores of the most beautiful Loch in the Highlands
You then return to a fabulous four-course menu of Skye ingredients, handpicked fine wines and the best possible service! We do great cocktails too
I arrange to speak to our couples at least twice before you arrive! We are always most concerned that you have a wonderful time and that this is a special place for you and your families!

- We offer intimate elopements for two and exclusive small group weddings for up to 12 people
- Our accommodation is designed with weddings and elopements in mind. We can help you choose. Elope in our gorgeous thatched cottage An Nead or reserve our stylish suite - complete with two double bedrooms - perfect for getting ready for your big day
- Our delicious food is all created at Coruisk House by us. We choose the finest ingredients sourced as close to the house as possible. Our wedding couples all comment on how absolutely amazing our food is! Perfect for you and your guests
- We are experts in wine and our wine list has more than 70 French Burgundies - the best wine region in the world in our opinion. For bubbles we of course have Champagne - but we love the complexity and edge that Sussex Sparkling wines have....

Meet the Owner
I love helping engaged couples with their wedding planning. This includes helping them choose their wedding meal, recommending hair and makeup artists, and finding a skilled photographer. Coruisk House is a romantic ancient Croft house. You can imagine a scene from Outlander being filmed here. Our couples marry outside usually on the shores of incredible Loch Coruisk or in Elgol under the cathedral of the honeycomb rock and where the Cuillin rise from the ocean. Expect spectacular scenery! Come back to a celebratory dram by the fire or a bottle of chilled sparkling wine of the highest quality. Look forward to a sumptuous wedding feast of the best Skye and Highland ingredients
