15th-century Dragon Hall is a magnificent timbered trading hall and courtyard garden located in the heart of Norwich. Blending historic detail with sleek contemporary touches.

Dragon Hall is fully licensed for weddings and civil partnerships making it the perfect all-in-one venue for your special day. We are also happy to host just your reception and evening party.

You will have exclusive use of the stunning Great Hall for ceremonies and dining; the beautifully light glass gallery for drinks and dancing; and the courtyard and garden with the beautiful white border flower bed – a lovely spot for drinks and canapes, particularly in the evening sun.

We can host 90 seated dining guests, and up to 120 guests for your reception. We offer a Wedding Package that gives you the time and flexibility to relax and enjoy your special day. The Package includes:
• Exclusive use of the Great Hall, Gallery and Medieval Courtyard Garden spaces
• Use of the venue across THREE DAYS, so you have plenty of time to set up and add your personal finishing touches
• A dedicated Wedding & Events Manager to assist you with your plans during the months, weeks and days leading up to your special day
• Two discreet venue managers and SIA Licensed door support, responsible for overseeing the building and ensuring your day runs smoothly
• Furniture hire for up to 90 dining guests
• Party space for 120 guests
• Use of a private retiring room for you and your celebrant
• Use of a kitchen and an approved list of caterers (catering, tableware and decorations not included)
• Full disabled access and a hearing loop in the Great Hall
• Use of all audio-visual equipment
• A cultivated book bundle, curated by our team here at the National Centre for Writing, to thank you for supporting our work

Our magnificent building is home to the National Centre for Writing, a literary charity helping writers at all stages of their careers. All proceeds generated through weddings and events support our charitable work and the restoration and maintenance of Dragon Hall.
