The location of the house is particularly striking with commanding views of the Borrowdale Fells. It is ideal base for a walking holiday with easy access to some of the best routes in the Lake District.

We have twenty five double/twin en-suite rooms and eight single en-suite rooms.   Facilities include a spacious resident’s lounge with log fire, spacious bar including log fire, a drying room and free wi-fi. Our restaurant serves excellent quality home-made food using the best local and seasonal ingredients.
