Our experienced team will help you plan every detail to perfection to ensure your special day is uniquely yours. Whether you choose to have your ceremony in one of our characteristic licenced rooms, or would like Gorse Hill to host your wedding reception, we will work closely with you to create the wedding day of your dreams.
When the party is coming to an end, your Honeymoon Suite – which comes with its own balcony overlooking the gardens - is the perfect escape to relax and reflect on your wonderful day. Your guests can also enjoy a night in one of our 67 cosy and stylish rooms.

- We are licenced for civil ceremonies of up to 90 people in our Mansion House and 150 in our Garden Suite .

- Gorse Hill is a historic wedding venue located in Woking, Surrey. This charming property sits upon 17 acres of manicured gardens and verdant scenery, while also being close to a number of motorways, offering convenient access for out-of-town guests.
- Built in 1912, Gorse Hill in Woking offers elegant event spaces for your wedding. Licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 150 guests. Enjoy a drinks reception on the lawn and photos in scenic surroundings.
- Gorse Hill offers 67 guest rooms and suites for wedding guests. The newlyweds can enjoy a stay in the honeymoon suite with a private balcony overlooking the gardens. Guests can also use the on-site gym and dine in the hotel’s restaurant.
- Gorse Hill offers a dedicated wedding coordinator to help plan your special day. Choose from various wedding packages or create a bespoke service. Enjoy delicious catering from the in-house team, with menu tastings, and receive supplier recommendations.
- For your evening function, the Garden Suite will be reserved for your exclusive use, complete with a private bar to enhance the celebratory atmosphere. The ambiance transforms into a captivating wonderland with beautiful festoon lighting and fairy lights.
- As a venue, we will never host more than one wedding at a time, allowing us to provide you with our undivided attention and exceptional service.
