The Kings String Quartet bring more than exceptional live music — we bring warmth, personality and a genuine connection that comes from years of performing together as close friends.
Based in Worcestershire and performing across the UK, the quartet are highly experienced professional musicians with careers spanning the BBC Proms, television and film, and orchestral performances both in the UK and internationally. Our close musical partnership creates a natural chemistry that shines through in every performance.
Our repertoire combines timeless classical favourites with beautifully crafted string arrangements of contemporary music, from Bridgerton and Coldplay to Taylor Swift and beyond. This versatility makes us the perfect musical accompaniment throughout a wedding - from the intimacy of the ceremony, through relaxed drinks and canapés, to dinner and the celebrations that follow.
For couples looking to make their music truly personal, we also offer a unique interactive song-request service. Guests can simply scan a QR code and request a favourite song from the quartet’s extensive repertoire, creating a fun and memorable talking point while retaining the elegance of live string music.
Professional, reliable and approachable, the Kings String Quartet are passionate about making every performance feel personal. We are happy to tailor our repertoire and performance style to suit each event, creating music that is polished, expressive and perfectly matched to the atmosphere of the occasion.
The Kings Quartet would love to be a part of your day and help to create a musical experience that you and your guests will remember long into the future.

Meet the Owner
Hi I am Dan and I will be the main contact for you in the build up to your day. I also play viola or violin in the group. I will want to know exactly what you want from the music on the day from the music and the musicians. I am married myself so I know first hand how much work and effort goes into preparing for a wedding day. The music should not be a headache for you. If we are playing for your ceremony I will invite you to choose the music that you want from our extensive list of over 500 songs. You can also usually have songs arranged which we don’t have. For the drinks reception you don’t need to pick the songs and this is one of the reasons why we have developed a unique song-requesting service. Your guests scan a QR code which links directly to our repertoire and they can then request songs via WhatsApp.
