As you approach via the yew tree lined drive and beneath the beautiful 14th century gatehouse, there is a heightened sense of expectation as the Manor House comes in to view. On arriving in the courtyard of the stunning family owned Grade 1 listed country manor, you are not disappointed as the true beauty of the venue starts to unfold.
Passing under the stone archway, along the gravel path and past the doorway of the manor’s Undercroft, the 10 acres of stunning award winning gardens come into view, as do the picture perfect sunken pond and beautiful far reaching views across the River Medway. With a large marquee perfectly placed to benefit from these wonderful sights, everything combines to provide the perfect setting for a quintessentially English wedding.
Only a relatively low number of dates are released each year for wedding couples to enjoy the stunning manor and its surroundings, thus preserving its special qualities. A Summer Wedding Celebration
Amy and Rich married in the hot summer month of August. They celebrated their wedding ceremony in the Rose and Lavender Garden surrounded by family and friends. Drinks followed on the Meadow Lawn with friends enjoying the amazing views over the rolling countryside. The wedding reception and evening reception followed in our large stylish wedding marquee which looked incredible.
A June Wedding Celebration at Nettlestead Place
Hannah and Mike celebrated their wedding day on a perfect Saturday in June. They married outside with family and friends in the beautiful Rose and Lavender Garden. The Drinks Reception was held on the Meadow Lawns followed by a fabulous Wedding Breakfast in the stylish wedding marquee.
