Welcome to Oak & Scribble, where art meets celebration! My name is Alexandra, a passionate live illustrator situated in the heart of the UK. With a flair for capturing the joy and essence of your special day, I bring a unique and interactive experience to weddings and events that will leave a lasting impression on you and your guests.

Imagine the delight of your loved ones as they receive beautiful, hand-drawn illustrations that serve as delightful mementos of your wedding. Live illustration not only entertains but allows guests to walk away with a personalised piece of art that encapsulates the spirit of your celebration.

In addition to live illustrations, I offer bespoke portrait illustrations and delightful place cards that add a personal touch to your wedding stationery, making them ideal gifts or perfect enhancements for your big day. I'm excited to collaborate with you and be part of your cherished moments as I’m already accepting bookings for 2024 and 2025.

Our Artistic Offerings

At Oak & Scribble, we offer a range of live illustration packages tailored to meet your needs:

- Bronze Package: Enjoy 3 hours of live illustration, capturing around 20 guests.
- Silver Package: With 5 hours of illustration, approximately 35 guests are sketched, and you’ll also receive an A5 illustration of your wedding cake, finished after your big day.
- Gold Package: For 7 hours of artistic endeavors, approximately 50 guests will be illustrated, along with an A5 sketch of your cake and a venue illustration, delivered post-wedding.
- Platinum Package: Experience the luxury of 8 hours of live illustration capturing around 55 guests, including all the charms of the Gold Package plus a full-body portrait of the happy couple and sketches of an additional 30 guests sent to you after the event.

Feel free to choose between full-body or portrait-style illustrations without any additional cost. Note that for both the Gold and Platinum packages, a 30-minute lunch break is included for your convenience.

Personalised Place Cards

Create a warm and inviting atmosphere with our custom place cards! Designed with charming portrait-style sketches, these cards beautifully guide your guests to their seats while adding a special touch to your reception. Orders require a minimum of 10 place cards and vary in price based on your guest list.

How Live Illustration Works

Once you select the perfect package, I will arrive at your venue 30-45 minutes prior to guest arrival to get set up. Throughout the day, I’ll snap photos of couples and groups before expertly sketching them. I understand that your day will be busy, so I'll find opportune moments to ensure you’re included in the artistic fun.

Guests are invited to return periodically to pick up their sketches, or they can observe the illustration process unfold in real-time. Each illustration is lovingly placed in protective sleeves, ensuring safe transport. Any sketches that aren’t finished on your wedding day will be completed in my studio later and mailed back to you for distribution.
