I’ve always been obsessed with flowers and their ability to transform your mood. Walking into a room with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers can bring a smile to your face and also evoke powerful memories. Being able to capture your sentimental flowers, retain their beauty as though they are still alive and pass them on for you to admire everyday is really special. I can’t quite believe that I get to do this as my full-time job. I’ve had the honour of preserving over 500 of your wedding bouquets and funeral flowers, creating beautiful pieces of art that you can hold forever. Every wedding bouquet preservation or memorial flower preservation I do has its own unique story and I love it when people share those with me. I’m lucky enough to have a large purpose built home studio in Ponteland, Newcastle Upon Tyne where I live with my partner and two children. You might see I sometimes refer to ‘We’ but what I actually mean is ‘I’. I run all aspects of the business myself from responding to your queries to making your orders, marketing, social media and everything in between. It can be tough at times but seeing the end results and your finished pieces in their new homes makes it all worth it. Grace Fountain
