Set in the beautiful Tyne Valley Northumberland, growing gorgeously romantic flowers and foliage is at the heart of our wedding floristry. We champion British-grown flowers for our floral designs to create truly unique and sustainable wedding flowers from full colour explosions to a single, fabulous colour scheme.
As a flower and plants enthusiast, Katherine LOVES flowers and specialises in abundant and naturally styled floral arrangements throughout North England, and Inverness. We have a range of services from single and multiple-day full wedding floral set up to full DIY, and anything in between - all with our Northumberland-grown flowers and foliage. We also offer workshops so you can learn the basics of floral arranging for yourself (great for a party!).
Using seasonally grown flowers and foliage from our flower farm or British-growers further afield we can create bouquets that cascade, stand tall or wide, and posies to make your heart melt, button holes and corsages to match for the extra little touches, and don't forget your hair and cake pieces.
We also love a full flower display - from flower arches to meadows and gardens that fill the front of your top table, and fireplaces to provide the best backdrop to say I DO!
We do love weddings and will meet your wedding day excitement with the same enthusiasm and professionalism. As well as wedding floristry we are experienced in professional management services and hospitality, and even have an engineer on board, to provide a full and detail-focussed service.

RAE is a flower farm and florist in Northumberland’s Tyne Valley, with wedding and event floristry throughout north England including Newcastle and Durham. Owned and run by horticulture and flower expert Katherine Evans-Smith who trained and practiced in horticulture, hospitality and professional forest management. We established as a flower farm through a genuine passion for growing truly beautiful flowers, and a desire for as many people as possible to enjoy locally and naturally grown, fresh and seasonal great British Blooms; whether this is for your wedding, event or other special occasion, or a seasonal gift for a loved one. Katherine loves plants and grows from the heart, and with experience in wedding and event floristry, enjoys nothing more than creating the freshest gorgeous floral arrangements.
