Shotton Grange is an exclusive wedding venue set within six acres of Northumbrian countryside, offering a secluded and beautifully considered setting for your wedding day. Following extensive renovations, the venue combines the grandeur of a Georgian Manor House with the warmth and character of a beautifully restored Coach House.
Your ceremony can take place in one of three distinctive settings. The Coach House offers exposed stone walls, original beams and festoon lighting, creating a romantic indoor setting. The Walled Gardens provide a beautiful outdoor backdrop with manicured lawns, seasonal flower beds and mature trees. Alternatively, make a grand entrance down the staircase and exchange your vows in front of the Manor House, with its elegant façade and fountain providing a spectacular setting.
After the ceremony, enjoy drinks and canapés with your guests in the gardens or within the Manor House. With outdoor seating, festoon lighting and firepits, the grounds offer a relaxed setting for celebrating and photographs, while the Cocktail Bar and Lounge, Drawing Room and Snug provide stylish indoor spaces.
The Coach House then becomes the setting for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. The culinary team offers a selection of menus designed to suit different styles of wedding, from a traditional three-course meal to more theatrical feasting experiences.
Evening food can be just as memorable, with options ranging from street food and wood-fired pizzas to burgers, stotties and a whole hog. The drinks offering includes cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic options, allowing you to create a celebration that feels completely personal.
When it is time to dance, the Coach House is transformed for the evening reception. A resident DJ can play until midnight, with the option of a late licence until 1am. For those who want to keep the celebrations going, the Late Night Lounge offers an after-hours setting with food, drinks and entertainment, including karaoke.
The venue also offers accommodation for your wedding party, with eight individually designed bedrooms in the Manor House and three additional bedrooms in the cosy cottage. The Ridley Suite provides a beautiful place for the newlyweds to stay after their celebrations.
With up to 110 guests accommodated for the daytime reception and up to 200 for the evening, Shotton Grange offers flexibility for a wide range of celebrations. Your dedicated wedding team will help guide you through the planning process, while a range of finishing touches can be added to make your day even more personal.
