About Soho House Museum
Soho House Museum is an elegant, restored Georgian home (originally the home of Matthew Boulton, an industrialist and entrepreneur) in Birmingham surrounded by beautiful, picturesque gardens, and it is on of Birmingham’s most unique wedding venues. Wedding ceremonies are hosted in the Lunar Room—a charming dining room that has been furnished to retain its 18th century ambience and can accommodate up to 40 people for a standing reception, up to 30 when seated theatre style, or up to 14 for a banquet style reception and, outside, it offers beautiful wedding photo opportunities. The Soho House Museum has a beautiful, secluded, 18th century garden and a traditional gazebo that is a gorgeous spot to serve drinks and canapés (Soho House Museum can provide catering on request) or even a wedding reception on the lawns, under the shade of the trees.
Furthermore, for couples with historical interest, the Soho House Museum is very close to the factory where Matthew Boulton and James Watt developed the steam engine.
