Set in Hillington, on the outskirts of Kings Lynn and a stones throw from Sandringham Estate, Stables is a multi purpose, blank canvas function space that hosts weddings. Stables shares the site of the newly renovated and quirky Ffolkes pub and hotel, which houses daily street food traders, a container golf course and lots of bright colours! This property is flexible, with a range of spaces to suit the needs and style of any couple. Those who choose to celebrate their day here can expect to have a super relaxed, fun and anything but 'ordinary' wedding day all whilst being looked after by the wonderful and dedicated team of staff.

Facilities and Capacity

Stables is licensed to host civil ceremonies both outside in our private courtyard (120), downstairs in the main function space (120) or upstairs in our dedicated ceremony room (60). Offering a blank canvas, you can decorate this space to reflect your vision and individual style. The main function room is set inside a 300-year old coach house and can host up to 120 guests for a banquet-style meal, or 200 people for cocktail receptions. The cherry on top of the space is Stables' stunning, private courtyard equipped with heaters and lounge seating. This elegant space is the perfect place for your guests to unwind and soak up the sun, or enjoy a live DJ to dance the night away under the stars.

Services Offered

Stables works to provide a seamless experience for engaged couples on their big day, allowing you to relax, have fun and enjoy the celebrations with your loved ones. A dedicated events team will be on-hand in the lead-up to your nuptials, working to ensure that the planning process is as smooth as possible; we are only ever a phone call away and always welcome you to come in for a catch up and a cuppa. This venue is fully licensed to serve alcohol, with its own private bar in the function room to keep guests refreshed and merry throughout your festivities (we even have a shot bar menu).

FEAST

Catering at your reception will be provided by the on-site chefs, who can offer a range of menus to suit the style of any event; we pride ourselves of the relaxed nature of our food service. All of our food is served buffet style from our FEAST counter where you can choose from a range of 6 menus; whether you want picnic-inspired meals, grazing boards, a roast or a barbecue feast, we've got it covered and will always ensure that your guests will be wowed by the experience. For evening receptions, we also offer our menus in bite-sized portions, which is an ideal option for evening nibbles and ensures your guests don’t have to spend too long away from the dancefloor.

Accommodation

The site contains 25 newly refurbished and quirky guest bedrooms; complete with bright colours, outside baths and even hot tubs! Therefore, providing plenty of space for you and your wedding party to relax in after the festivities. Newlyweds can enjoy a night in the stunning Hayloft Suite, which features luxurious amenities including a William Holland hot tub a private lounge and a walk-in double drench shower.

With the option of booking out plenty of rooms at the venue, the site is the perfect location to make a whole weekend of it. Start with a welcome dinner in the Ffolkes pub from one of our famous street food vendors with your friends and family the night before your wedding. You can then end the weekend with a large table for Ffolkes famous brunch to cure those sore heads the morning after the celebrations; we've got you covered.
