We’re here to make your day one to remember for the rest of your lives together. Built in 1881, this Victorian Country Manor House is nestled within 35 acres of ancient woodland and surrounded by beautiful Surrey Countryside. Stanhill Court is traditional yet contemporary with modern twists in its décor and style.

Beautifully bright and illuminated by natural light, The Orangery overlooks the lawns and Surrey countryside. Up to 180 guests can watch you walk down the aisle and on a lovely sunny day, the doors open out to the terrace and lawn where bubbles and fizz can be served after the ceremony.

THE CHARLWOOD
For those with a larger guest list, The Charlwood Suite is situated within the extension of the house. With wood panelling and sparkling chandeliers, The Charlwood Suite sets the scene for a grand affair with natural light and a neutral aesthetic.

For a more intimate affair, 1881 boasts similar attributes to The Charlwood Suite with its wood panelled walls and crystal chandeliers. The ornate decorative ceiling exudes an undeniable grandeur to your special day. The naturally bright space overlooks the terrace and lawn and boasts hardwood flooring and an original fireplace dating back to 1881. Licensed for up to 55 guests for an intimate civil ceremony, there are plenty of opportunities to make the room your own with its neutral décor and accents.

THE AMPHITHEATRE
A blank canvas masterpiece nestled in the grounds and completely secluded from the main house. A hidden gem within the surroundings of this magnificent country manor house with seating for 88 guests. The wedding gazebo boasts rustic design with a woodland backdrop, suitable to be dressed however you like. With woodland pathways leading to the Amphitheatre, start your journey to say ‘I do’ immersed within the trees and natural surroundings.

After the formalities, it’s now time to raise a glass and celebrate. A popular area for reception drinks and canapés, photographs and enjoying the afternoon sun is the terrace and lawn. Mingle with your guests or spend time with your wedding photographer in the grounds surrounded by beautiful woodland backdrops. Enjoy games on the lawn and sip on Pimms as you bask in the afternoon sun. Behind the scenes, our team will seamlessly transform any ceremony room into your wedding breakfast space, ensuring an uninterrupted experience for you and your guests.

For our newlyweds, we highly recommend spending the night in one of our Autograph bedrooms. With four poster beds, original Victorian features, countryside views and grand décor, our Autograph bedrooms are certainly the icing on the wedding cake. These spacious bedrooms are also a firm favourite for getting ready with the bride.
For your friends and family, they will be more than comfortable in one of our 54 modern and contemporary style bedrooms, ranging from various room types and including family rooms.

Meet the Key Person
Meet Louise, who has been part of the events world since 2011, building on a background in travel that gave her a strong foundation for creating memorable experiences. As Events Manager at Stanhill Court Hotel, she brings warmth, energy and a love of organisation to every celebration. Always the organiser among her friends and family, Louise turned her natural flair for planning into a career and she still gets a real buzz from seeing happy couples and families enjoying their big day. For her, there’s nothing better than seeing all the planning come together perfectly. She believes great events are built on communication, attention to detail and calm problem-solving, especially when the British weather decides to add its own surprises! Louise is known for her proactive, steady approach and for creating a sense of ease for her clients. She also credits the close-knit team at Stanhill Court Hotel for making every event a true team effort. Away from the hotel, you’ll find Louise running, walking her dog, enjoying a glass of Pinot with her husband and friends or spending time with her teenagers (when they’re up for it!). She admits she’s the one asking what’s for lunch before most people have had their morning coffee. Her favourite spots around the property include the Hall Lobby, with its beautiful Scottish heritage and stained-glass coat of arms, the Orangery and Terrace, where the views stretch across the North Downs. She also loves The Amphitheatre which she describes as a truly special place where couples can marry surrounded by nature.
