I’m Alexandra, co-founder of Tapas Me The Plate, and I’ll be the person you’ll deal with from your first enquiry right through to the big day. I’ve always been a people person. I love getting to know each couple, hearing all their ideas — even the slightly wild ones — and working out how we can bring them to life. Before starting Tapas Me The Plate, I spent many years in hospitality management, where I learned that great hospitality isn’t just about what’s on the plate. It’s about making people feel genuinely looked after. I truly believe food is one of the things guests remember most from a wedding. They might forget what colour the napkins were, but they’ll definitely remember whether they ate well, had a good time and were made to feel special! And no two weddings should feel the same. You might picture an elegant canapé reception followed by a beautiful sit-down dinner, or perhaps huge pans of paella, live cooking and a relaxed festival atmosphere. Either way, I want to understand what you have in mind and make it work for your day. I’m very hands-on, I adapt quickly when plans inevitably change, and I’m always happy to go that little bit further. Weddings have lots of moving parts, but that’s half the fun — I thrive on making sure everything comes together while you’re busy actually enjoying yourselves. For me, there’s nothing better than getting to the end of a wedding, seeing happy faces and empty plates, and knowing we helped make your vision come to life.
