The Dunes Hotel offers the perfect wedding location, set just over one mile from the beautiful Roanhead beach with its sand dunes and nature reserve, on the edge of the of the English Lake District. No matter what size of wedding you are looking for we have a room to suit. Small intimate weddings can take place in the champagne room or we have the light and airy terrace for weddings of up to fifty guests. For larger weddings our Roanhead suite is just perfect.
Your Wedding ceremony can take place outside in the wedding garden or in one of licensed rooms if you wish, which means that your special day can take be held in one place. The grounds are a beautiful setting for your wedding photographs with manicured lawns and palm trees, You can also take the opportunity to get away from all the hustle and bustle by having some time out for a beach photo shoot.
There is plenty of space for your guests to mingle both inside and out, and the onsite children’s play area will keep the little ones entertained.

The Hotel boasts forty bedrooms, so there is plenty of accommodation for your guests to stay overnight, so they can make the most of your celebrations. The Bridal couple of course get a complementary room for the night of the wedding included in wedding packages. Many of our brides opt to stay the night before the wedding too, so they can get ready for their big day in the relaxed surroundings.
