A rare find, The Harcourt Arms is an extremely flexible and elegant 17th century manor wedding venue, within twenty minutes of Oxford, in the quaint Oxfordshire village of Stanton Harcourt, en route to The Cotswolds, and within easy reach of major communication routes and centres.
It has the feel of a baronial countryside residence, stylish and yet chic with the atmosphere, extremely rarefied and relaxing, the real beauty being able to sink into sofas, walls adorned by fine furnishings and pictures, secret nooks and crannies.
Our chefs are extremely flexible and agile, working with you to create menus that totally reflect whatever you and your guests want throughout the course of the celebration, no request is too much trouble.
Catering for up to 75 guests in The Marlborough Room, our stunningly photogenic building, both exterior and interior, plays host to weddings with some style, offering a charming and idyllic setting for your dream wedding, accommodating wedding parties of all sizes, marquees and dance floors, with extended outdoor terraces to the front and rear, and parking for 50 cars.
In addition, indulgent pre and post wedding accommodation, in one of our 10 beautifully designed bedrooms with spacious bathrooms, and the Jewell in our Crown’, the sumptuous and regal Blenheim Suite, the ultimate in bridal suites with a real copper rolled bathtub.
Our experienced wedding planners will work with you to meticulously cover every aspect, bespoke cocktails and canapes, decoration and florists, music and performance, outdoor area and bar for pre reception, transport, menus with our chefs and wine selection, staying pre and post wedding parties.
Also nearby is our charming little sister, the idyllic ‘away from it all’ country pub, The Plough at Kelmscott which is perfect for accommodating friends and family or pre and post private wedding parties in our very own Gin Pantry.
