The Kings Arms Hotel offers a truly unique and unforgettable wedding venue in the heart of Christchurch, Dorset boasting a picture perfect location you’ll enjoy an exquisite ambience steeped in history.

The 18th century Georgian building combines elegance with architectural integrity with a contemporary twist. Our carefully designed rooms and areas soak up the surrounding views. We offer exclusive use wedding suites, a stylish restaurant & bar, as well as, luxury boutique bedrooms.

Will we need exclusive use?

To answer this question simply, no you won’t need to pay for exclusive use. Our beautiful bowling green and Pavilion are amidst ancient castle ruins which exude fairy tale romance for your wedding vows and drinks reception. Your day will continue in our unique and exclusive Kings Priory Suite, a split level venue created for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations (or engagement party). This space continues to provide a stunning view overlooking the Avon River, Christchurch Castle and the Kings Arms Bowling Green.

Boutique Bedrooms

Guests are offered the option of staying in one of our luxury boutique bedrooms, perfect to relax in before and after your celebrations. With so much to discover in the local area from exploring local businesses and art galleries to strolling along scenic Christchurch Quay why not stay for a few days and enjoy the sights with friends and family?

Fresh, local and seasonal:

Celebrated local Chef Alex Aitken, the hotels’ Chef Patron, has carefully created a variety of delicious wedding menus for you to select from. Alternatively, why not meet with Alex and his team to create a bespoke menu designed specifically for your Big Day. Whether you would like a BBQ or Hog Roast on the lawn or a traditional three-course meal, at The Kings Arms Hotel, we can provide something to suit you perfectly.
